5 of Southeast Asia’s unhealthiest dishes that you simply must try

We all know my love for southeast asia and it’s cuisine. After all, it is what I grew up with and even after moving to England I have managed to find some great, authentic eats like Roti King to kill my ever so often craving for home. It probably is for the best that I don’t have a hawker center with chicken rice for $3 outside my house, it would be a problem. A lot of the favourites aren’t the healthiest, however, once in awhile everyone deserves to indulge on a cheat meal – and you might as well make it count.

“Everything in moderation, even moderation”

Here are some of the famous Malaysian/Singaporean dishes that really bring in the calories – you will probably need a detox after but it is almost so worth it for those 10 minutes of spice heaven. Continue reading “5 of Southeast Asia’s unhealthiest dishes that you simply must try”

The First Date Rules

So, the past year or so of being Single has led me to explore the fast pace, vibrant and challenging dating scene in London. A year ago, I was terrified to go on a date with someone and have to take the time to get to know them but once I got out there it was a little less intimidating.

I have tried the likes of Tinder and Bumble – while it can be fun on a Sunday evening to swipe around and judge people on their looks while you’re laid in your pyjamas at home and the grey skies are rolling in, it just hasn’t led to anything substantial. In fact, I have always had more of a connection with the people I met the old school way (you know, without the internet). I know people who have met their future partner through dating apps but majority of the people on there are easily distracted. It has just become way too easy to meet people, yet harder to keep them around.

So now, I like to think I am quite the first date expert. I have gone on a few, analysed the market performance and come up with a few rules to follow to avoid super awkward situations (this is for both men and women) because I wish I had a rulebook to take along with me on a few of my first, first dates. Don’t Go Chasing Waterfalls in Slovenia

Screw that, follow every path to any waterfall you can find and your heart will sing. Is it just me who loves them? It isn’t just the soothing sound of running water but the actual sight of them, just being around a waterfall makes me feel like I am in some magical world where mother nature rules the lands and humans are just mere spectators (not that it isn’t the case now, we’re just busy destroying the world simultaneously too).

Slovenia is home to some pretty impressive waterfalls, they aren’t always easy to get too – but is anything beautiful ever easy? Slovenia is becoming a more popular travel destination and it’s natural landscapes are one of it’s biggest attractions. We only had 5 days here so we decided to dedicate two days to get down and dirty with nature around the iconic lake bled. This was personally my favourite part of the trip, Ljubljana (loo-bee-ya-na) is a beautiful city but it simply does not compare to the jaw dropping views of Lake bled and Bohinj valley.

The Art of Going Down South

How does one celebrate a year of being single? They go to a member’s only strip club to learn about the truth in orgasms and receives a few vibrating gifts.

Got your attention now I bet!

I am going to take a slightly different topic of discussion in this post, maybe some of you will hate it ( I know my younger brother will) and maybe some of you will feel like you came out of this as a new person, either way, I am going to write it. Why is there so much stigma behind sex? It is a natural thing that brought most of us here, it is basically the reason you can read this post. But what about what it can actually do to your soul and your body (if done correctly)?  Continue reading “The Art of Going Down South”
